Regional Management
Scott Spencer - C.E.O.
Scott is the founder and CEO of The Spartan Management Group. Calling himself “a young man with nominal skills” Scott built three homes in Las Vegas while putting himself through college. In 2012, following a number of years as a General Manager in the uniform and plumbing industries, he purchased Jim Dandy Sewer and Plumbing in the Seattle area. His philosophy, “Do the right thing” treating all people as though they are your direct customer, helped him with great success. Over the next 10 years, multiple businesses have been added across the United States with more than 275 employees with great career opportunities.
A quote often heard from Scott is, “When you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God.” This permeates his life and work, resulting in a great team of dedicated, driven and motivated individuals working together.
On a personal note, Scott has a great passion for golf and loves the internal challenge of positive discontentment, striving to eliminate that one extra stroke even in his best round.
Ted Toft - President
Ted applied for a Project Coordinator position in 2011 in our Seattle market, desiring to work his way up into Construction Management. He was quickly promoted to Excavation Sales and Management. In the Fall of 2014, he relocated to Colorado Springs to start an excavation department there, and quickly grew that department before assuming the role of GM. He grew that location from $3m to $8.5m in annual revenue and in 2018 was promoted to Regional Manager, overseeing 5 companies for 3 years. In July of 2021 Ted assumed the role of President, overseeing 8 companies with over $45m in annual revenue.
Ted’s management philosophy focuses on helping his management team in professional and personal development as well as striving for 100% customer satisfaction. He believes if he can truly care for his team, that in return, his team will take care of our customers.
Outside of work Ted loves to spend time with his family. He is an avid lover of golf and skiing with his children in the winter.
KC Spencer - Vice President
KC started working for his dad when he was 16 when he closed on his first business in Seattle in 2012. While in school, he worked Summers helping plumbers and being on the excavation crew. When he graduated college in 2017, he started his management career by running our call center. Other positions KC has held in the company include, HVAC helper, Dispatcher, HVAC & plumbing salesman, operations manager, GM and now VP. KC's biggest function in the company is being a support for the GMs in order to help them succeed. He also holds his Master Mechanical License.
Being one of the longest tenured employees and having an obvious special connection to ownership, KC can help in any facet of the business. He has no issue helping in the field and enjoys riding with techs whenever he gets a chance. He enjoys taking on new challenges and is typically at the forefront of any new venture the business takes.
KC enjoys playing basketball, golf, running and country swing dancing on the weekends
Marc Brocklehurst - Chief Financial Officer
Marc joined the company in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer, in Colorado Springs. He has served in roles focused on public accounting, tax preparation, financial analysis, risk management and operations and quality management. His educational background includes a B.S. in Finance (Colorado Technical University), B.S. in Biochemistry (Calvin University) and a M.S. in Accounting (Regis University). He has an active Colorado CPA license and is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
He and his wife have four children, 2 in elementary school and 2 attending Calvin University. He and his family love to take road trips, hike, and play games. He enjoys reading science fiction novels, investing, and cooking.
Interesting Fact: He has not always been an accountant. His career started as a Research & Development Polymer Chemist.
Jeff Schnabel - Regional Manager
Jeff got into the plumbing services industry in June of 1998 with Roto-Rooter as the GM of the Denver market. Jeff and his team won four Branch-Of-The-Year awards during his 18 years at Roto-Rooter. They also won multiple other awards for commercial sales, highest profit, employee retention, highest sales growth, etc.
Jeff came to Affordable Services Corp in January of 2018. He started as the GM of the COS market. Jeff has taken on a few different roles with the company in his 4.5 years here. He took the role of Regional Commercial Sales Manager from January of 2020 to May 2021. He managed the Call Center May 2021 to April 2022. Jeff is now the Regional Manager for the company.
Jeff loves to play golf with his friends and co-workers. He and his wife enjoy time with their 3 grown boys, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Peter Garbett - Call Center Manager
Peter joined Spartan Management Group as the Call Center Manager in April 2022 after spending 10 years in real estate sales and marketing. With his past business experience, combined with a degree in economics from the University of Iowa, Peter takes an analytical approach to customer service and looks to maximize the opportunities in every interaction with our clients.

Daniel Rice - Cape Coral, Florida
Daniel started in the Air Conditioning Industry in 2008 and found it to be a challenging trade. Daniel developed a passion to succeed in learning everything about how HVAC works. Daniel moved to Florida in 2018 for the sunny weather and the great fishing.
Immediately after finding Affordable air and heat for work, I knew this was a place I could grow. The team around me was very inspiring and encouraged me to reach my goals and improve my skills. After 2 years I was promoted to General Manager. Over the years we have built a great team who is trained to meet the customers needs. At Affordable Air and Plumbing, we put the customers first.
Ryan Rich - Cheyenne, Wyoming
Ryan has been in the role of General Manager with Marv’s Plumbing & Heating since June of 2016. Ryan started in the plumbing industry as General Manager of Roto Rooter in Las Vegas back in 2005. He transferred with Roto Rooter and relocated his family to Memphis, Tennessee and worked with that market from 2008 to 2012.
Ryan has also spent time in the Financial Services industry, most recently as a Certified Financial Planner in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. When the opportunity arose to relocate his family closer to home in 2016, it was an easy decision. Ryan is passionate about customer service and he thoroughly enjoys working with his Cheyenne team. Ryan views a customer crisis as an opportunity to gain a customer for life.
On his free time, you can find Ryan at one of his son’s soccer matches, spending time with his family, or on the golf course.
Frankie Vargas - Castle Rock, Colorado
Troy Willey - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Troy got his start with the company at our location in Colorado Springs, CO as the Operations Manager in April 2021. He had previous experience as an Assistant G.M. with Roto-Rooter and as an Independent Recruiter in our industry. In April 2022 he was promoted to Director of Organizational Development with a focus on company policy development, recruitment and retention at our various locations.
Troy is a natural at listening and connecting with people, both professionally and personally. Coupling this with his networking capabilities makes him a valuable part of helping company stay connected and on pace with our vision, mission and values.
He and his wife love Colorado Rockies baseball and spending as much time riding his Harley Davidson as time allows.
Shane Dorias - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Jeff Jennings - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Jeff Started as a HVAC Project Manager at the Colorado Springs location in 2022. He strived to work his way into a Regional position. He produced over $4.4m in annual revenue his first year with the company. He was Quickly promoted to the Regional Sales Manager position.
Jeff focuses on exceeding all standards and building a positive environment for his team. He provides the same effort out in the field as he does for his coaching and mentoring. His passion and willingness to never give up give his peers the support they need.
Outside of work Jeff enjoys going on hikes, Reading books, and playing guitar. He is also a Powerlifter for the USPA competing out of Colorado holding 3 records.
Cache King - Columbia Falls, Montana
Cache got his start with the company in 2017 working in the Cheyenne, WY location. He worked for the next few years in various roles in the Colorado Springs location. In the end of 2019 Cache accepted the role as the manager of Equipment Connection, our Montana equipment and trailer dealership.
Cache has developed a skill base in the equipment and trailer industry. This includes aspects of maintenance, product knowledge and valuation. Cache also has a background with excel and reporting.
He grew up on a ranch in Montana and continues to have a passion for all the outdoors has to offer. From sports, powersports, winter sports, camping, hunting, fishing and rodeo.
John Stock - Mesquite, Nevada
John Stock is a seasoned professional in the plumbing and HVAC industry with extensive experience in all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, and technical service.
As a manager, he has been responsible for driving growth and profitability through strategic planning, resource management, and customer satisfaction. He has a talent for identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and partners. He is a results-oriented professional who is dedicated to delivering high-quality service and driving the success of his company.
Monty Greathouse - San Angelo, Texas
Monty has been in the plumbing industry since 1978. He received his Journeyman Plumbing License in 1984 and his Master’s in 2000. He attained a Florida plumbing license in March of 2022.
Monty started Superior Services in 2002, growing it to become one of the largest plumbing, heating & air conditioning company in the area. Monty sold the company in 2020, staying on as General Manager.
Monty is married with two grown daughters. He also has 16-year-old, 7-year-old, and 7-month-old granddaughters and an 11-year-old grandson.
